Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme hosted by the Should Be Reading blog.
If you fancy joining in, here’s how…
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two teaser sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!
• Share the title and author so other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!
I’m rounding off the month of February with Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. I grabbed this in the library a week or two ago, and decided to start it last night when I saw the trailer for the upcoming TV adaption of the book. I’ve read about 60 pages so far, and I’m enjoying it – despite some fairly ghastly characters! Here are a few lines from the last paragraph I read….
“Can you imagine how strange it must have been for Madeline to have her ex-husband’s child in the same kindergarten class as her own child? I remember Renata and I talked about it over brunch, We were quite concerned how it would affect the classroom dynamics.”
