Here is what I am reading now, then and next!
Now…
I’m just about to start London Belongs To Us, a young adult novel by Sarra Manning. As a born and bred Londoner, I’m intrigued by the premise and hope it does my city justice! Here’s the blurb…
Seventeen-year-old Sunny’s always been a little bit of a pushover. But when she’s sent a picture of her boyfriend kissing another girl, she knows she’s got to act. What follows is a mad, twelve-hour dash around London. Along the way Sunny meets a whole host of characters she never dreamed she’d have anything in common with. But as this love-letter to London shows, a city is only a sum of its parts, and really it’s the people living there who make up its life and soul.
Then…

Yesterday, I finished Her Fearful Symmetry, the second novel by Audrey Niffenegger, who wrote The Time Traveller’s Wife. And I still haven’t recovered! It really was an odd book and I’m still not entirely sure how I felt about it…. Review to come soon!
I also finished The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson – I was a bit disappointed with this if I am honest, and I didn’t think it was as good as I’ll Give You The Sun. I’ll be reviewing this in the coming days too.
Next…
I popped into my local library today and was pleased to find In The Unlikely Event by Judy Blume. I devoured Blume’s book when I was (much) younger, so I’m really looking forward to getting a taste of her adult literature.
I’m intrigued by Her Fearful Symmetry now! I’ve only read The Time Traveller’s Wife by Niffenegger (which I loved), so will look out for your review of HFS.

I saw Her Fearful Symmetry in a bookshop, and I debated whether or not to buy it. I decided against it in the end because I wasn’t sure the plot intrigued me. I really loved The Time Traveler’s Wife however; and I think both book covers are beautiful. I uploaded a min-review of it here: https://readandreview2016.wordpress.com/2016/07/27/challenge-week-learn-to-love-challenge-day-3-science-fiction/ if you’d like to take a read! – Judith xx
