This is such a sad and bittersweet novel, which follows a family from Delhi as they move to America. They are living the dream, until a terrible accident changes their lives forever…
The novel is narrated by Ajay, and the way he struggles with the accident which has affected his older brother is heartbreaking. We watch as he has to deal not only with this, but also watch his parents fall apart.
This is not an action-packed novel, and I read it in just a day, but it really left a lasting impression on me and actually I would have liked it to be longer – which is not something I often say about books.
