I’ve decided to choose a classic children’s book for today’s quote – The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams.
“Weeks passed, and the little Rabbit grew very old and shabby, but the Boy loved him just as much. He even began to lose his shape, and he scarcely looked like a Rabbit any more, except to the Boy.”

Aww, that’s so sweet. I love this quote. And it’s true, when you love your pet, you love it even when it’s not that pretty any more. Only if we would apply the same concept to humans.:(
I don’t know the story, since I’m not from a Anglo-Saxon country. we have our own children’s stories, with similar messages. 🙂

Lovely quote – I still love my bear, Edward, despite him having to have emergency cosmetic surgery more than once in his long life! 😉 And thanks for the tag!
