Now…
I’m about three pages into The Other Me by Saskia Sarginson, which is a thriller about a woman who is living a lie. I don’t know why I read thrillers as they always tend to leave me feeling a bit let down, but yet I still persist with them. Let’s hope this one turns out to be one of the better ones!
Then…
Today I finished All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, which is a very sad young adult novel. I enjoyed it a lot but with some reservations.
I have also recently read Man Booker nominee The Year of the Runaways by Sunjeev Sahota, and The L-Shaped Room by Lynne Reid Banks. I am determined to get my butt in gear and write reviews for these very soon, so watch this space!
Next…
My book group choice for November is The Sunrise by Victoria Hislop. I have to admit I have no desire to read this as I’m worried it’s a bit more chick-lit-ish than I usually like but I will give it my best shot and hopefully I’ll be pleasantly surprised!

I really enjoyed All The Bright Places, I read it last month! I’m reading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater at the moment, and I hope to read The Selection or Throne of Glass next. 🙂
