I keep track of all the books I read on Shelfari.com, and on there you can set yourself a reading target for the year. I started with a target of 60 books, but managed to surpass that, and I’m well on the way to meeting my new target of 100 books – I’m currently on 94 (and nearly through number 95) and I’m sure I can read five more books before the end of December.
However, the real figure must be nearer 90 as I must admit I do abandon books that I’m not enjoying (I’ll blog about this another time). But I have read some fantastic books this year, and discovered some new authors that I love, and I’ll be reviewing my books of the year over the coming weeks.

I set my goal for 100 too, but I’m only up to 91, so I’m not sure I’m going to make it. I think you will though. Good luck! 🙂 (I can never give up on a book!)

Nine books in just under a month? You can do it! Just read very short ones 🙂 I hope I’ll make it – still got a few to go.
